Everyday objects are always designed with a function in mind. Yet through time the craftsmanship, cultural practices and narratives they convey far outweigh their original role enabling the object to stands on its own. The Dandelion vases are hand thrown and come in direct continuation of the candleholders I’ve been developing over the last few years. The vases combine both natural and cultural influence. They are shaped as cylinders suitable for majestic flowers of all sizes and their colours reflects the countless textures and palettes found in nature.
